Share expertise/knowledge Broader public supporter base to draw upon (e.g. some groups specialise in youth, others in faith etc.) More supporters to potentially engage A stronger voice to policy makers More stakeholders to potentially engage with (i.e. broader networks of political, celebrity, journalist contacts) Charity supporters like it when we come together Stops us competing and working together (e.g. there isn’t competition about getting media coverage for individual organisations) Sharing/learning about best practice Different tactics, e.g. insider/outsider
