(more on this today!)  Begin Main Supervisor Relationship  Begin clinical quarterly reflection  Start looking and thinking about competency based learning and acheivements  Focus is on Effort and Progression  Pull information from Readings, Classwork, Supervisor Meetings  Come to meetings with ideas, suggestions, well-thought out questions  Implement suggestions, thoughtful self reflections  Looking for increasing independence over the term

4  Increase in number and types of clients – increased reading, paperwork, etc.  Increase in logistic challenges  RDS Access, Recording/Clinic Tech Challenges - Lalla  Scheduling Challenges –  Client - Start with Supervisor  Student – Jen  Multiple Supervisors with different styles and expectations  Dark, dreary days

5  Use a planning system  Use the Practicum Agenda and other resources on infoCDS  Talk to your cohort  Plan ahead- allow a business day for supervisor feedback  Clarify expectations with your supervisor upfront  Complete documentation as soon as you are able/don’t delay!  SOAPs after your session  ITP background after your interview  Lesson Plans after session or right after supervisory meeting

6  Practice Good Self Care  Plan meals and snacks for the week  Exercise  Sleep  Get Outside  Plan some time to be with those you care about  Communicate and Advocate – Don’t Delay

7  At how much more you’ll know  At how much more confident you’ll be in clinic  At how much of a difference you’ll make  At how rewarding it is to work with different types of clients At the end of these 11 weeks!
