The Titans once ruled the Earth Zeus: Ruler of the Gods of Olympia overthrew the Titans in battle. Atlas was a Greek Titan who fought against Zeus and the Olympians but lost. His punishment was to bear the weight of the World on his back Greek Mythology: ATLAS
