Parent conduct: Can I remind all parents and carers about expected conduct on school site. We expect parents and carers to set a good example in their own speech and behaviour towards staff, other parents and children. Attendance In the Spring term, a number of children were absent from school for a variety of reasons. Can I reiterate the importance of children attending school, as missing out on lessons leaves children vulnerable to falling behind in their learning. Alongside the local authority, I will be monitoring attendance very carefully over the next few weeks, and inviting parents into school to discuss attendance concerns. Reporting absence If your child is absent from school, please remember to call the school office on 02476 466744 by 8.55am.
