Graduation Requirements 4 Math (Must Include Algebra 1 & Geometry) 4 English 3 Science (Must include Biology & 2 Labs) 1 World History 1 American History ½ American Government ½ Economics 1 Fine Art 8 Electives 1 HOPE (Health/PE) = 24 Total Credits

Students must pass 1 online course Students must pass the Algebra 1 EOC and English Language Arts test Students must have a 2.0 Cumulative Unweighted GPA

Scholar Designation Earn 1 credit in Algebra II Earn 1 credit in Statistics or an equally rigorous math course Pass Biology 1 EOC Earn 1 credit in Chemistry or Physics Earn 1 credit in a course equally rigorous to Chemistry or Physics Pass the US History EOC Earn 2 credits in the same world language Earn at least 1 credit in AP or Dual Enrollment course

Merit Designation Meet standard HS diploma requirements Attain one or more industry certifications

18-Credit ACCEL Diploma 3 elective courses instead of 8 No HOPE (Physical Education) requirement No Online Course requirement All other requirements for 24-credit standard diploma must be met

SUS Requirements HS graduation with standard diploma Admission test scores (SAT/ACT) 16 credits of college prep academic courses In addition to graduation requirements, students must have 2 World Language credits (sequential, in same language) 2 approved academic electives

Online Courses Students must pass 1 online course to graduate from high school Semester course (ex: Drivers Ed, Personal Fitness) will meet this requirement Students complete online requirement while completing other requirements (Fine Art, HOPE, etc.) Can be done as one of 6 daily classes (on campus or off) or as an extra class during the year, over the summer, etc. Pasco eSchool vs. FLVS Same platform (through FLVS.net) eSchool: longer grace period, Pasco County teachers, better communication
