All Rights Reserved. www.infor.com Identifying Key Business Challenges Citibank is well-capitalized, even under the stricter Basel III criteria. But beyond capitalization, the sheer scope of regulation they now face is vast. One thing is certain: there’s no appetite among regulators for them — or any large bank — to grow inorganically. That dynamic, however, can work to their advantage. They are working to be less concerned by mergers and acquisitions among their peers trying to replicate their footprint — so they are especially focused on getting the best out of the businesses that they have. These and other changes are redefining every relationship this company has: with their clients, with their regulators, with their employees and with the communities they serve. Therefore, Citibank was looking for a solution that would: Be a proven revenue management platform that supports all pricing and billing initiatives for the groups it serves. Overcome the difficulties, challenges and inherent complexity of managing large institutional client portfolio relationships. Achieve outstanding customer experience through system stability. Minimize revenue leakage and make effective use of pricing for existing customers. Citibank Case Study

Their desire is to maximize the revenue from their existing business portfolios. Major project challenges – Managing the implementation of the recommended pricing strategies across many sales and product management teams. Methodology and approach – By giving each collective team the credit and recognition for the revenue improvements Citi allowed everyone to work towards the common goal. Lessons learned – There were many economies of scale realized by dropping any pre-conceived assumptions and let the data speak for itself as the opportunities for improvement were identified. All Rights Reserved. www.infor.com Overcoming Key Project Challenges Recognizing where the challenges are, and planning for and resolving them by engaging with the right stakeholders. In our experience with most large organizations, the main roadblocks to delivering projects tend to be: Setting up the infrastructure Bureaucracy associated with setups – interfaces, software, hardware, and release management. Politics across the various divisions and teams. Taking ownership of projects by stepping in to assist with tasks that are not Infor’s contractual responsibility, if it’s in the best interests of the project and the client. Anticipating change controls and planning for them by means of an open and honest dialogue with users. Citibank Case Study
