8. Mastery can be measured in a percentage shows how much of the language you KNOW Ex: I can write down 80% of the vocabulary words from this unit

9. Proficiency can be measured in proficiency levels shows WHAT YOU CAN DO with the language Ex: I can write an introduction about myself in complete sentences (intermediate low)

10. Confused about proficiency? Think about it like a SPORT you can KNOW all of the trick shots in soccer But when you USE them effectively in a game, that shows you have a high soccer proficiency level
