Monday: MUSIC Tuesday: SPANISH Wednesday: Technology / G & T / Health (Feb.) Thursday: GYM / Art Friday: Gym Students must wear sneakers on GYM days. Special Classes

Classroom Rules Stay on task. Talk politely and work quietly. Always follow directions. Respect everyone and everything.

Individual Behavior Modification All student start out the day with a green card. Students will move down to yellow and subsequently to red each time they are caught not following directions/breaking rules. Students have a chance to move up to yellow, green, and even blue each time they are “caught doing something good.”

Individual Behavior Modification At the end of the day, students will be awarded with coins. – Blue Day: dime – Green Day: nickel – Yellow Day: penny – Red Day: nothing Class store will open once a month, and students will get to ‘shop’ with the money they earned.

Whole Class Behavior Modification Each time the entire class is ‘caught doing something good’, a pop-pom will be dropped into our class jar. When we reach our goal, we will have a class party.

Star of the Week Bring in pictures or any other favorite objects to share with the class (following Monday) Optional: Bring in treats to share with the class (following Friday)

Birthday Celebrations Send in a note or email to let me know the day you would like to bring in treats for your child’s birthday. Be mindful of ‘nut’ allergies Keep the treats simple. Bring in whatever is needed to serve the treat Summer birthdays can be celebrated in June.
