6. Taster activity Use the instruction sheet to complete the observation and deduction exercise on the various chemical reactions Can you explain any of the reactions using balanced chemical equatiions?

7. Final Tips Take some time over the summer to read around the course. Get an A level chemistry text out of the library (one published in the last 10 years). Begin to think clearly about why you are taking chemistry – get on to the “student Room” on the internet to look at the advice there.
