2. First Impressions When I first came to Paisley Grammar, I was really scared. I had heard frightening rumours about things like 6 th years bullying you, and the teachers being really strict. However, I was amazed to find that it wasn’t scary at all! On our 1 st day we got a talk from Mr Burke( the head of 1 st year) and then we went to meet our guidance teachers who told us for our 1 st week we would be shown to our classes by guides, who seemed helpful and friendly.

3. All of our teachers were also really kind and helpful. It was really easy to settle in and find our way around the school after that 1 st week of help.

4. Subjects Some of the subjects we study are:  Maths  English  Science  German/ French  I.T.( Computing)  P.E.( Gym)  Social Subjects( Geography, History, Modern Studies)

5. My favourite subjects are:  English- Like reading a lot  I.T.- Love playing on the computer  Science- Enjoy experiments However, I don’t like:  Modern Studies- I find it boring and difficult  P.E.- Some things quite difficult eg. gymnastics

6. Other Places in School There are lots of fun places in the school including:  Library. Open in the morning, at lunch and after school, this is a great place to read, do homework, or just talk to your friends!  Canteen. This is where you can buy snacks at interval, and get your lunch (if you stay in school for lunch that is). It’s also a great place to meet friends.

7.  Music Department. At interval and lunch you’re free to go up to the music department and practice playing an instrument.
