WHY DO YOU WANT TO PURSUE THE CAREER? I would like to pursue the career of being a professional baseball player because playing baseball is my passion and you get to travel to a lot of places with teammates. Baseball is really fun for me and if I got the opportunity to play it professionally it would mean a lot to me!

SHORT TERM GOALS Graduate high school with a 3.5 gpa Get a job to help pay university tuition Go to UBC

LONG TERM GOALS Study kinesiology at UBC Make to UBC Baseball team as a freshman Get scouted by a Major League Scout Get drafted by a Major League team as a pitcher

SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES NEEDED Being able to throw low to mid 90 mph Need to bench press 300 Can run 90ft in less than 11 seconds

YEARS OF EDUCATION AND PERSONAL HURDLES Some hurdles for me would be studying a lot in science because some units in science I struggle with and trying my best not to get injured in baseball. I would need at least 3 years of studying kinesiology and in those years playing on the UBC Baseball team

SALARY Id make anywhere from 550k to 30million (30 million is for the best of the best)

JOB DESCRIPTION A professional baseball player is a person who plays baseball on tv and makes loads of money. This job is suited well for me because ever since I was 3 years old I've loved throwing things and if I can make a career out of throwing a baseball that would be pretty cool for me!

POST SECONDARY University of British Columbia 2.7 gpa to get in kinesiology 3-4 years of study Cost of kinesiology and student fees = 6k Required courses: English 12 or English 12 First Peoples One of Pre-calculus 12, Biology 12, Geology 12, Chemistry 12, or Physics 12 Two other approved Grade 12 courses
