13. Functionalities The purpose is to manage volunteers for project manager. Because volunteers may participate in multiple crowdsourcing processes. Main functionalities: Volunteer register Volunteer profile Group volunteers Seek volunteers Volunteer commitments A.A.A.

14. Volunteer register Volunteers can register with VMS. Project manager can add new volunteers. It needs to verify new volunteers.

15. Volunteer profile Each volunteer views/edits his/her own profile. Each volunteer can upload his/her avatar. Each volunteer can reset/change password. Volunteer profile may include basic information contact information skills, equipment participation, reputation and etc.

16. Group volunteers It helps project manager to organize volunteers as a group. Project manager views/edits/delete his/her own group and volunteers in a group. Project manager assigns custom fields to volunteer in a group when he/her needs more flexible volunteer information.

17. Seek volunteers It helps project manager to seek suitable volunteers. Project manager seeks volunteers by some conditions.

18. Volunteer commitments It records the current commitments of each volunteers. Project manager ONLY views the volunteers (or participants) real-time information (eg. coordinate) in his/her own process. The real-time information DOSE NOT include crowdsourcing data.

19. A.A.A. A.A.A. provides authentication, authorization and accounting. Role In a process, a project manager may manage participants’ different tasks. Project manager can define roles and assign roles to participants. A.A.A. includes role-based control.
