A Little Info about your Prof. Born in Syracuse to immigrant parents from Northern Greece in a province called Macedonia Attended Seminary, SUNY Cortland, Maxwell at Syracuse University and LeMoyne College Holds a B.A. and M.A. in Cultural Anthropology, M.S. in Social Studies Secondary Education, and C.A.S. in Educational Leadership Taught in SCSD for 10 years and head of Social Studies for 6 years Loves Dachshunds (I have two of them) Professional Tarot Card Reader

Why even study Anthropology? Learning Objectives Describe the four fields of the discipline of anthropology and how they form its holistic approach. Describe globalism and its five key dynamics. Identify three ways globalization has transformed anthropology. Compare the ways in which nineteenth-century globalism initiated anthropology with the ways in which contemporary globalism has changed anthropology.
