System of Environmental Impact Assessment (SEIA) Environmental Impact Assessment (ICE) Evaluation Commission Environmental Qualification Resolution (RCA) Art. 86 Law 20,417 Sectoral Environmental Permitting (PAS) The new Regulation System Environmental Impact Assessment, which came into effect on December 24, 2013, Prefeasibility and feasibility studies At this stage the projects are studied within the company to determine their level of technical, environmental, legal complexity The main PAS contained in Title VII of the SEIA regulation applicable to NCRE projects are as follows: Permission for short or exploitation of native forests, on any type of land or plantations located on land of preferably forest, to which the Act refers Decree on Forestry Development. In Study or Environmental Impact Statement should be considered reforestation of at least equal to the cut surface or exploited.

Electrical Connection Permissions A NCRE project will have the ability to connect to the transmission system or distribution; this depend on the steps and procedures that follow. In both cases it will be required once defined the possible connection point, request information from the network to the transmission company or distributor as appropriate, in order to verify the availability of connection capacity. Building Permits, Safety and Health It is those authorizations directly associated with the technical features of the project related to construction, mainly in the field of construction and civil engineering, in addition to base forecasts and considerations to minimize effects work could have on the safety and health of the various actors involved in the project. It includes constructive decisions, and organizational techniques that are considered in planning the project and to be performed in each phase or simultaneously. It refers to issues such as the handling of hazardous materials and substances, disposal of equipment and access roads and evacuation, storage and waste management as well as implementation, operation and maintenance, including labor risks associated with safety and health they can be avoided, indicating technical measures to be taken.
