4 HEAT LOSSES, HEAT GAINS Original New (2013) Difference [%] Specific transmission heat loss HT [W/K]1364360-74 Specific ventilation heat loss HV [W/K] full occupancy 550 0 Total specific heat loss H [W/K]1914910- 53 Heating load at winter design temperature (-13 °C) [kW] 6530- 53 Estimated heat gains [kW]14 0

5 HEATING OFF TEMPERATURES Number of persons per floor External air temperature for heating off [°C] No heat recovery With heat recovery (70 %) 60+10+5-8 120+6-6-13 ! Ventilation rate 25 m3/(h.pers.) Waste heat from local server Unrealistic consideration, fluctuating use,…

24 CONCLUSION High occupancy: different relation losses and gains Ventilation by fully opened windows not acceptable Mechanical ventilation as additional measure possible but limited Individual control, each seminar room No heating of ventilation air, no use of heating bodies Waste heat circuit in limited use (low heat demand) Observation: acceptance and comfort studies will be repeated Presented for education Intensive cooperation HVAC and construction needed Under preparation now: design of mechanical ventilation in other floors (air handling unit for 2 floors)
