17 Step 6 - Set your target How do I work out my target? Setting a realistic target can increase your chances of getting funded. Make it ambitious but not ridiculous! Remember you can add a stretch target and over fund the project.

18 Step 7 - Shout about it Before - one month of pre-promotion, create a project plan with what you are going to update and when, create twitter and facebook pages, create a blog During - Friendly emails to supporters, continue on social media, tweet a few times a day, organise a launch event, contact local press After - Regular updates, progress reports on the projects, keep supporters informed of when they will receive their rewards, invite them to future events, crowdfund again!
