3.  A verb that involves doing something  to another party is called transitive. So wîhkomêwa  ‘invite’ means literally ‘he/she invites  him/her.’ Transitive verbs have the ending  -êwa (for ‘he/she ___ him/her’), which  can be replaced as needed by the  combinations for the other persons, as  given in the following tables.
