REPENT OF OUR SINS Acts 3:19 says “REPENT, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord” In Acts 26:20 Paul said “…I preached that THEY SHOULD REPENT and turn to God and prove their repentance by their deeds.” "REPENT and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:38

Ephesians 2:1-2 tells us that before we became Christians We “…were dead in (our) transgressions and sins, in which (we) used to live when (we) followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air…” “We were by nature objects of wrath.” Romans 5:10 says that at that time we were “God’s enemies”.

17. CONFESS JESUS AS LORD Romans 10:9-10 says “if you CONFESS with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.”

Philippians 2:9-11 tells us that sooner or later – everybody’s going to confess Jesus as Lord. “… God exalted (Jesus) to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
