Market Research & Consulting The market research process starts with identifying issues and objectives along with the client. We try to follow the Root Cause Analysis method to identify and track the issues in hand. This helps us in understanding the “WHYs” Once we know the objective we formulate tools and strategies to achieve those objectives. The two questions that are imperative to solve the problems are “What and How”? “What”- Prepare a story board “What” do we do with the objective? We make some hypothesis on the basis of initial assumptions backed by data and create a framework/ decision tree to give a structure to the problem “How”- Data required to connect the dots Once we structure the issue and know how to reach to the solution of the problem, we start identifying ways in which we can reach to the solutions. Some of the ways are: Databases, Research Reports, Focus Group Interviews and In- depth Interview (administered through a questionnaire) Example: Market Entry Strategy: The macro aspects that we focus on are: 1. Customers 2. Products 3. Competition 4. Company 10 Gyan Research and Analytics
