Client Installation  Download the client installation file for your Firebox from the WatchGuard Software Downloads Center.WatchGuard Software Downloads Cente Windows installer filename: WatchGuard_EntryCl_Win_[version].exe Mac OS X installer filename: WatchGuard_Mobile_VPN_[version].dmg  Run the installer on the client computer If you install this client as an upgrade to an older version of the WatchGuard Mobile VPN with IPSec client, the upgraded client does not have an unlimited license. It is installed as a 30-day trial version. WatchGuard Training 3

Client Software License  To use the client beyond the 30 day trial period, you must purchase a client license and use it to activate the client software.  After you purchase a client license, you receive an email with a license key and serial number you can use to activate the client. 5. Client Activation  During the trial period, the main client window shows the number of days remaining on the 30 day trial.  Click Activation to activate the client. WatchGuard Training 5

VPN Client Functionality  This client is similar to the WatchGuard Mobile VPN with IPSec client that WatchGuard distributed in the past.  The steps to import a profile, connect, and disconnect are the same.  A few of the client changes include: Support for client activation Desktop firewall configuration is different Log options have moved from the Log menu to the Help menu  For more information about how to use this client with your Firebox, see Fireware Help Fireware Help  For more detailed information about client configuration options, see the Help in the client. WatchGuard Mobile VPN License Server  You can optionally purchase a volume license for the IPSec Mobile VPN client software in one of these increments: 10 seat bundle 50 seat bundle  To manage volume licenses, you use a Mobile VPN License Server (MVLS) You install the MVLS on a local Windows server, and enter the bundle license details into the MVLS web console. The MVLS validates the bundle details, downloads client serial numbers from the NCP Activation Server, and generates an Initialization File. You distribute the Initialization File to users of the IPSec Mobile VPN client. The VPN client software activation wizard uses the Initialization File to activate the client license.
