Write each vocabulary word in
a sentence that helps the reader
understand the word.
Wednesday Night:
Spelling Words in an Interesting Story.
You only need to use at least 7 words. This
is also in cursive.
Monday at School---
Records words and definitions
Tuesday Night-
Spelling words 3 times each
and in cursive…using 3
different colors for each word.

Spelling and Vocabulary homework will stay the
same throughout the year.
Math and writing homework will vary depending
on class progress on lessons, classroom
overall student needs, etc.
Homework sheets come home the first day of
the week. This form should guide homework
-changes will be indicated in the agenda/planner.

9. REMINDERs- Signed tests come home on Tuesday nights for your signature
Cold Reads will not be stapled in the packet-(we keep these in the writing binder to show progress over the entire year (they get harder)
Quarterly writing projects will be shown upon request and are part of the writing binder. They will not be coming home for a signature. We will share these at scheduled conferences or you can drop by to see them.
