PARANÁ – Cattle 9,4 million/cb – production of 438 thousand/t More intensive production than the rest of the country Small areas; heterogeneity in the productive sistem Climate, relief and e topografy -> high qulity pastures; european cattle -> quality meat for an expanding market-> strong structure of coperatives activity reduction in the state, despite the favorable market -> high grain prices-> reduction in pastures areas High potential for crop-livestock and/or crop-livestock forest (Widely used in Brazil for some is the future of modern agriculture)
