3 The basics In 1998, became Scouting’s National Honor Society Members live a life of unselfish service to others

4 Purpose Recognize those who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily life Provide cheerful service to the BSA and community

5 Purpose Develop youth leaders dedicated to the betterment of others Inspire fellowship and brotherhood amongst membership

8 Opportunities Use this slide to inform Scouts of a few lodge-specific events available to Arrowmen

9 Requirements for Membership Member of a Boy Scout troop or Varsity team Achieved the rank of First Class Experience 15 nights of camping in the last 2 years –5 days of which at a long-term Boy Scout summer camp Gain the approval of your unit leader Be under the age of 21 Be elected by the youth members of your troop or team
