. Dr. Kenneth M. Macur, CPA Provost and Dean of the College Bethany College – Lindsborg, KS Greetings Bethany College Students, September 20, 2012 The purpose of this email is to announce an exciting addition to the services provided by Bethany College. You will receive an eMail from Foliotek.com the company that has created our new electronic portfolio and assessment system. That email will give you login and initial password for entering the ePortfolio site, https://secure.foliotek.com An electronic portfolio (or ePortfolio) is a system that will allow you to create customized professional websites to showcase your best work as you progress at Bethany College and as you prepare yourself for the world of work or graduate school. The system is easy to use and comes with several self-guiding tutorials on how to upload files, and create and publish ePortfolios. I encourage you to explore the system soon... you can’t break anything! Additionally, some of your academic programs will have specific assessment-portfolio requirements that will help you prepare for certification (e.g., teaching) or other aspects of your future profession. Your instructors will guide you through the process of submitting artifacts to your ePortfolio. Lastly, I want to thank Bethany College’s Student Government Association for supporting this exciting adventure.
