Transfer Options for CIS Students AAS Degrees are for technical or vocational majors Technical and vocational majors are not generally found at four year universities. For that reason, AAS Degrees are non- transferable. They are designed to make you work-ready in two years. AS and AAOT Degrees are for transfer majors, such as Computer Science, History, French, Engineering, Mathematics, Political Science, etc. They are NOT designed to make you work-ready in two years.
