What is the dentition? When and where the first teeth appear? -dentition :is the arrangement or condition of teeth in the individual _first appearance at 6 months old newborn in the lower jaw of the mouth

What is the tooth ? Is a hard,bony enamel -coated structure in the jaws in mouth in the most of vertebrates. Teeth Milk (deciduous ) teeth ( 6_33)months. Permanent teeth ( 6-12 ) years old.

When they appear? & when they fall out? 1) central incesiors 2) lateral incesiors 3) first molar 4) canine 5) second moral - ((appear in the newborn baby of 6th months &complete until 33 months old.)) - ((fall out and the permanent teeth appear in child of 6 years old &complete until 12 years old

Why do newborn babies need special care during the 28 days of the life ? Because during this period, they become at risk of dying, so need care + breastfeeding for improve both 1. Chances of survival. 2. To lay on foundations of healthy life

What is the benefit of early postnatal care? Early postnatal care, will contribute to sustain reduction in maternal+neonatal mortality How can avoid newborn baby death ? 1)preventive measurements(clean delivery ) 2) effective management of complications (infections )

What should the basic care of the newborn babies include? 1)promot+support early and exclusive breastfeeding. 2)keep the baby warm. 3)increase hand washing 4)provide hygienic umbilical cord +skin care. 5)identify conditions require additional care.

Who is need special and additional care? Newborn babies who have: 1)preterm birth. 2)low birth weight. 3)who are sick or born to HIV-infected mothers

What is the maternal care include? 1).good diet. 2 ). supplements (vitamin A & ferro-folic). 3). Encourage breastfeeding. 4). advice about pelvic excersie. 5).advice about contraceptive. 6). Vaccines.
