2 Comparative adjectives are adjectives that compare things. Sometimes these can be made by adding ‘er’ or ‘ier’ to the end of adjectives. For example: “The dog on the right is ‘trendier’ than the dog on the left.”

3 Superlative describe something by making it seem the most extreme of its type. Sometimes these can be made by adding ‘est’ or ‘iest’ to the end of adjectives. For example: “The dog on the right is the trendiest dog I’ve ever seen.”

4 In a comment, write 3 comparative sentences and 3 superlative sentences about the pictures of the monsters below. You can look back at the slides for help if you need to.
