Je regarde la télé will become Je la regarde. Note: if there is an infinitive, the pronoun goes IN FRONT OF INFINITIVE Je vais faire les devoirs will become Je vais les faire. Note: if the me/te/le/la is used in front of a vowel sound, use m’/t’/l’ Nous invitons Claire. Nous l’invitons. Note: if there is a de after the conjugated verb and before the infinitive, used with the pronoun ‘le’ Do not contract! J’ai besoin de faire le travail will become J’ai besoin de le faire.

14  Le Passé Composé consists of 2 verbs (helping verb and past participle)  Helping verb: AVOIR or ETRE in the present tense: Use avoir (for all verbs EXCEPT MRS DR VANDERTRAMPP & REFLEXIVE VERBS)  Past participle: (ER verbs drop er and add é; IR verbs drop ir and add i; RE verbs drop re and add u; memorize the irregulars)  Ex:  J’ai fait la vaisselle.Nous avons mis la table.  Tu as attendu le busVous avez chanté.  Il/Elle/On a plié les vêtements.Ils/Elles ont passé la tondeuse.

15  Reflexive verbs are when the action reflects back to oneself. (I wash myself. – reflexive. I wash the car. – not reflexive  The reflexive pronouns goes RIGHT IN FRONT of the reflexive verb.  When you learn a reflexive verb (or see one in a dictionary), it will have a “se” in front. Se laver- to wash oneself  Reflexive pronouns  Je menous nous  Tu tevous vous  Il/elle/on seils/elles se
