5. And in Yorkshire and the Humber…
Doncaster – connecting into wider LA Cultural Strategy and ‘Discover Doncaster’ curriculum. Planning CYP led consultation and Arts Award and Artsmark Strategy.
Bradford – led by the LA culture and arts teams, a creative consultation process with families, a partnership agreement, a vision and action plan and ‘18 by 18’ initiative, bidding for Big Lottery ‘Celebrate’ fund.
Scarborough – connecting into the LA Scarborough Pledge initiative, creating a partnership schools programme and a creative consultation with young people.

6. And in Yorkshire and the Humber…
York – connected to UNESCO City of Media Arts status. Ambitions include consultation with CYP, schools and arts organisations, a ‘York Schools Pledge’ & Schools Culture Week.
Kirklees – vision and mission in place. TOR created but not yet agreed. Beginnings of a proposal for a Kirklees Children’s Biennale.
Hull – First meeting happened at the end of June with wide representation from early years to HE and range of arts and cultural organisations. Developing shared priorities.

7. And in Yorkshire and the Humber…
Rotherham – led initially by the Music Education Hub, developing terms of reference and collective themes.
Leeds – being led by Artforms, early high level meetings to connect work with City of Culture Bid and School Improvement.
Sheffield – first meeting planned for Sept 9th with great enthusiasm and wide high level representation across sectors. Being led by CEO Learn Sheffield who has developed A&C focused priorities for all Sheffield schools.
