A Sway (equivalent of a document or presentation) is composed of multiple cards that are combined into a storyline. Cards are containers that hold text, images and videos. You can combine cards into groups. A collection of cards make up the storyline. What is Sway?

How is Sway different than Powerpoint?
Unlike a page-centric document such as PowerPoint presentations, storylines can shift across the screen in a continuous fashion. How is Sway different than Powerpoint?

Why and When to Use Sway When creating media-rich content:
The proverb, “A picture is worth a thousand words,” hold true in many cases. This is especially true in Sway where much of the presentation is optimized to display images and create smooth transitions between cards. When you want your reader to interact with content: Include live content such as tweets and embedded IFRAMES from numerous sources that the user can interact with including Google maps, and numerous other audio, video and picture sharing sites. Click on "Create New" Creating a Sway

Insert button also opens search bar for internet content.
Add Sway title here. Adding a title with an image: Give your Sway a title Click where it says "Drag image here." Notice the search window that slides open. This happens when you click "insert," too. Click here to open search function. Search your topic here for online suggestions.

Click the "+" to add content. Decide what kind of content you would like to add here.

Stacks look like this. Click on images and they flip like a stack.
Change "automatic" to "stack" to see a stack of images to flip through instead of a grid. Picture Display Options: Drag and drop card onto each other to group them together. Remix! Click "Remix" to see other layouts and designs for your presentation. If you don't like it remixed, click the "undo" arrow next to it.

Click here to share. Choose "Anyone with link" to make it viewable by anyone you share the URL with.
Sharing a Sway Click "Share" Copy the URL to , write on the board, tweet, etc.

You could even make your next science report using Sway. Artwork or Multimedia Portfolio – Use Sway as a product portfolio to show a number of your own creations.
