Greenshades started as an accounting firm in 1992 We released our first electronic file software (SUI for the state of FL) and became Greenshades Accounting Software Greenshades expanded the offering to include UI and W-2 files for all 50 states on our Mag.NET platform We released the new E-File creator, The Greenshades Center, and our Year End Forms products Today we support thousands of clients through our Jacksonville, FL office

8 Avionté Partnership Today 2017 2008
Avionté placed their first Greenshades order January 4, 2008 after selecting Greenshades as a known leader in the tax filing industry. Today Greenshades offers services to 273 Avionté clients through our Tax Filing Center Information is extracted from Avionté and formatted into a .XML file for upload into the Tax Filing Center Avionté supports their clients directly with Greenshades offering second tier support to Avionté. Since 2008, we have answered over 3800 support tickets.

14 An Overview of Exceptions and Errors

15 E-File Wizard Error Although this error does not give a lot of information, it is generally a result of what our system believes is a temporary or unexpected interruption in connectivity which makes the Tax Filing Center unable to complete the action necessary to move forward. Checking local connectivity and rerunning the operation should clear this error. If the error persists, please contact Avionté Support. Tax Filing Center

16 Unhandled Exception Error
Unhandled exceptions happen when something goes wrong that is unexpected and unaccounted for in our error handling. These exceptions require hands on work by Greenshades to be corrected because something happened that the product did not expect. When reporting these exceptions, it is very helpful to include a screen shot of the exception, copy and paste the details into a text file to send with your screen shot. If possible, Include the steps the you took right before the exception appeared so that we can take the same steps to reproduce the issue and identify why the exception occurred. Tax Filing Center

17 Critical Error This error is generic because the Tax Filing Center is experiencing a processing error that it is unable to identify the specific cause. This error will require that you contact Avionté Support who will work with Greenshades to troubleshoot a solution as soon as possible. Tax Filing Center

18 Registration Error The return of this error indicates that there has been a lapse or error in our registration system and can be quickly addressed. Please notify Avionté support so we can update your information in our system. Greenshades and Avionté have worked hard to better coordinate our invoicing and billing systems so that they will be in sync moving forward, reducing the likelihood of registration errors moving forward. 19 Data Uploads – Why they are helpful
Allows Greenshades to look at the XML file so that we can assist with missing data or XML formatting issues. Log files, these are simple files that log what the Tax Filing Center product is doing and if something is unusual or wrong evidence of the issue will be in the log allowing our team to troubleshoot and correct problems. Sending data uploads when reporting issues can result in faster issue turn around time at Greenshades. Tax Filing Center

22 Warnings that Must be Corrected
Severe – The form is missing critical information that will prevent the product from being able to create an E-File that can be accepted by the IRS and/or recipient copies of the forms will be undeliverable High – Information is missing or formatted in such a way that is likely to cause errors in E-File creation or prevent delivery of recipient copies Year-End Forms

23 Warnings that Should be Corrected
Moderate – Although these errors will not prevent E-File or recipient form creation, there is something in the data that our system believes needs attention, often to prevent undeliverable forms or no-match errors Low – Something has occurred that our system wants to bring to your attention in case the record needs additional modification prior to distribution or filing Year-End Forms

26 For 2017, Greenshades has restructured internal positions to offer additional escalations resources for Avionté and clients. In addition to the already in place technical support resources, a dedicated Alliance Coordinator is now available to help ensure that training, communications and trouble shooting is as proactive as possible. Greenshades has reassigned internal teams to have a dedicated Product Manager and associated QA associates for the Avionté integration into the Tax Filing Center and Year End Forms In addition to joint, client training opportunities for Avionté clients, Greenshades will be hosting a series of Avionté specific, year end webinars to offer direct training and assistance in getting prepared for Year End 2017 Avionté Clients that have questions or concerns about Year End Forms (through the Greenshades portal), can call Greenshades Support directly at x1
