2. Objectives
The trainee will be more ethical through their daily interactions.
The trainee will understand the value of ethics in the workplace.
The trainee will be able to identify compliance and interpersonal ethics which are the two common types of ethical challenges that occur.
The trainee will be able to identify ethical challenges in their daily lives.
The trainee will gain insight on how to respond and handle various ethical decisions that arise by working through real-life scenarios.
The trainee will be able to review and critique the scenarios for better possible solutions.

4. Content
Steps for Making Ethical Decisions 1. Identify the ethical issue or problem. 2. List the facts that have the most bearing on the decision. 3. Identify anyone who might be affected by your decision and how. 4. Explain what each affected person would want you to do about the issue. 5. List three alternative actions and identify the best and worst case scenario for each alternative, anyone who would be harmed by this choice (and how), any values that would be compromised by selecting this alternative, and any automatic reasons why this alternative should not be selected (legal issues, rules, etc.). 6. Determine a course of action. Compliance Ethics - The black and white legal issues (Harassment, Stealing, and Bribery) Interpersonal Ethics - These are the issues that determine how we work together and treat each other. These are not necessarily illegal but are the types of things you wouldn't want your family to see engage in (abusive behavior, lying to employees, and putting one’s interest ahead of the organization)

5. Content Ethics is two things.
Ethics refers to well-founded standards of right and wrong that prescribe what humans ought to do, usually in terms of rights, obligations, benefits to society, fairness, or specific virtues.
Secondly, ethics refers to the study and development of one's ethical standards. Feelings, laws, and social norms can deviate from what is ethical so it is necessary to constantly examine one's standards to ensure that they are reasonable and well-founded.
Ethics also means, then, the continuous effort of studying our own moral beliefs and our moral conduct, and striving to ensure that we, and the institutions we help to shape, live up to standards that are reasonable and solidly-based.
