3. NCAA Division I Academic Eligibility Requirements
16 core courses:
4 years of English
3 years of math (Algebra I/CCIM1 or higher)
2 years of natural/physical science (1 year of lab if offered)
1 year of additional English, math or natural/physical science
2 years of social science
4 years of additional courses (any area above, foreign language, or comparative religion/philosophy)

10 of the 16 core courses must be completed by the end of Junior year
7 of these 10 courses must be in English, Math, or Science

11. NCAA Division III Academic Eligibility Requirements
If you are planning to attend a Division III school, you do not need to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center. Division III schools set their own admissions and eligibility standards.

12. NAIA Academic Eligibility Requirements
Graduate from high school AND meet 2 out of the 3 following requirements:
1. Achieve a minimum of 18 (composite) on the ACT or 940 (Reading and Math- no superscore) on the SAT
2. Achieve a minimum overall high school grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale
3. Graduate in the top half of your high school class

13. NCAA ELIGIBILITY CHECKLIST 9TH / 10TH GRADE
Enroll in and earn high grades in academic college-preparatory courses, preferably one in each of the following areas: English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Foreign Language.

14. NCAA ELIGIBILITY CHECKLIST 11TH GRADE
Student continues to take college preparatory courses in the areas listed previously.
Student registers with the NCAA Eligibility Center. Go to to register.
Student registers for the SAT and/or ACT making sure to send their scores to the NCAA Eligibility Center by using code 9999.
At the end of the student’s sixth semester, the guidance counselor sends the student’s transcript to the Eligibility Center (if you have attended more than one high school, each school’s transcript must be sent in- be sure to contact your former counselor(s) to assure they send in your transcript(s) from your previous school(s)).

15. NCAA ELIGIBILITY CHECKLIST 12TH GRADE
Student continues to take college preparatory courses in English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Foreign Language.
If student did not register with the NCAA Eligibility Center as a junior, he/she may still register as a senior.
Student registers for additional SAT/ACT tests if necessary, making sure to use code 9999 to send their scores to the NCAA Eligibility Center.
On or after April 1st of senior year, the student goes back into their Eligibility Center account to update their academic and amateurism information and request Final Amateurism Certification.
After graduation, the guidance counselor sends the student’s final transcript to the Eligibility Center.

16. NAIA ELIGIBILITY CHECKLIST
Enroll in and earn high grades in academic college-preparatory courses (must meet NAIA AND university requirements)
Register with the NAIA Eligibility Center
Register to take SAT and/or ACT and send scores to the NAIA using code 9876
After graduation, come to the WHS main office to request your official transcript be sent to the NAIA Eligibility Center
