STAFFORD ACADEMIES FOR TECHNOLOGY “S.T.A.T. ACADEMY”
4-year program with emphasis on integration of math, science, and technology in career pathways that include Information Technology, Biomedical Science, and Engineering. BPHS: Information Technology Academy NSHS: Biomedical Sciences Academy NSHS : Engineering and Technology Academy Students generally attend the Academy for two blocks in Mathematics, Science, and Career & Technical Education throughout the year. Core courses are honors level or higher. Students will complete other course work necessary for graduation at their base school.

S.T.A.T. ACADEMY Applications are available on the Stafford County Schools website: Visit STAT link under “ Programs” then “Career & Technical Education” then “Stafford Academy for Technology” STAT applications available online. STAT students are offered rigorous academics combined with technical knowledge in areas of specific interest. STAT students are required to earn the Advanced Diploma. Details available online.

BPHS Flight School (August 23th)
Purpose: Allows 9th grade students the opportunity to meet and greet their classmates & faculty/staff. Morning Assembly to include Tour of School Overview of Programs, Clubs and Extra-Curricular Activities Question and Answer Session/Tips for High School Success Preview of Student Agenda Lunch followed by a Pep Rally! All 9th grade students registered to attend BPHS will receive an invitation for Flight School over the summer

COMMONWEALTH GOVERNOR’S SCHOOL
Provides gifted and highly motivated high school students with a half-day challenging program in English, Science, Mathematics, and Social Studies.
