2. After almost 18 months, translation of the Book of Mormon finally begins
Oliver Cowdery arrives Harmony April 5th,1829
They begin translation on April 7th
Research suggests they probably started with Mosiah 1
Covering about 7 pages a day places them at 3 Nephi 11 by May 15th

21 And the Lord said unto him: I give unto you power that ye shall baptize this people
24 And now behold, these are the words which ye shall say, calling them by name, saying: [Baptismal Prayer]
33 And whoso believeth in me, and is baptized, the same shall be saved;

5. Joseph and Oliver had been arrested at Colesville for preaching.
Their attorney, Mr. Reid, helped them escape through a window as a mob had begun to gather in front of the house. “It was night and they traveled through brush and water and mud, fell over logs, etc., until Oliver was exhausted; then Joseph helped him along through brush and water, almost carrying him.
They traveled all night, and just at the break of day Oliver exclaimed, "Brother Joseph, how long have we got to endure this thing?" They sat down on a log to rest and Joseph said that at that very time Peter, James, and John came to them and ordained them.
They had 16 or 17 miles to go to get back to Mr. Hales, his father-in-law's, but Oliver did not complain any more of fatigue

8. Why did john use the word “Messiah”?

“The anointed.” In the New Testament Jesus is called the Christ, which is the Greek equivalent of Messiah whose coming the Jews were eagerly expecting. (Guide to the Scriptures, lds.org).

9. What are priesthood “keys”?
Keys direct, control, and govern God’s priesthood on earth. Priesthood holders called to positions of presidency receive keys from those in authority over them. Priesthood holders use the priesthood only within the limits outlined by those who hold the keys. The President of the Church holds all priesthood keys.

They performed the ceremonies of purification and judged cases of leprosy

16. How will “the sons of levi offer again an offering”?
We are living in the dispensation of the fulness of times and all things are to be restored. The law of sacrifice will have to be restored. It will be necessary, therefore, for the sons of Levi, who offered the blood sacrifices anciently in Israel, to offer such a sacrifice again in this dispensation.
