INTRODUCTION TO EXISTING THE LAND RECORD SYSTEM IN SINDH BOR was established in 1957 under Board of Revenue Act. It’s the custodian of three isolated systems: LAND RECORD, held by Mukhtiarkar for each of 126 Taluka/Sub-Division MAPS, held by DSSLR Hyd & regionally at 05 SSLR offices REGISTRIES, carried out by 104 Sub-Registrar* Offices *DSSLR: Directorate of Settlement Survey & Land Records *SSLR: Survey Superintendent & Land Records Office

IMPROVING AGRO-BASED CREDIT FINANCING IN SINDH State & Agricultural and Commercial Banks taken on board for secure online access of computerized land records to facilitate in swift verification of land titles for enhancement of agricultural credit in Sindh for Housing Finance MoU signed with UBL Bank to ease up land title verification accessibility through direct access to land records database of BOR

BOR plans to introduce E-Passbook in the form of a Smart Card for issuance to prospective agro-based creditors to facilitate in retrieval of computerized land records of landowners through a unified card at financial institutions. NAQSHOW A web portal which links Land records with map “NAQSHOW” is being introduced to allow free access to maps & land records in one place for public convenience. E-Payments BOR intends to bring electronic payment facility for the transactions & payment of Taxes. E-Stamp papers and electronic registration system to be implemented by NADRA during FY
