1. We wish to propose the next International Conference on Kaon Physics
be held in Perugia (Italy) in 2019.
The Perugia I.N.F.N. Division and the Physics and Geology Department of the University have a long tradition of research in flavor physics, both from the experimental and the theoretical point of views. In Perugia we have been involved since many years in experimental Kaon physics, in the NA48, NA48/1, NA48/2, K0PI0 and NA62 collaborations. In addition, there are groups participating in BaBar, BELLE2, BESIII, CMS. Many international conferences have been organized in Perugia, among which: BEAUTY (B-Physics) in 2005; PIC (Physics in Collisions) in 2008; BEACH (Hyperons, Charm and Beauty Hadrons) in 2010; PLHC (Physics at LHC) in 2011.

2. Perugia offers a suitable setting for the KAON conference
Perugia offers a suitable setting for the KAON conference. Depending on dates, we can make use of the University services and facilities in the city center. Conference centers are also available at reasonable cost, close to hotels, restaurants and attractions. Perugia is the capital city of the region of Umbria in central Italy. It is a well-known cultural and artistic center, its history goes back to the Etruscan period. The University, founded in 1308, is one of the oldest in Italy. Perugia is located about 160 km north of Rome, and 150 km south-east of Florence. Several daily bus connect Perugia with the Rome Leonardo da Vinci International Airport in Fiumicino offering an easy access to visitors from around the world. A regional airport, “Aeroporto Internazionale dell’Umbria”, 15 Km far from Perugia, allows further possibility in reaching the town. Daily train connections with Florence and Rome are also available.
