Introduction & Objective Pedagogy:
The program is designed to develop an integrated approach among participants from both private and public sector to understand the Export-Import Procedure, Export Trading Regime, Export-Import Documentation and Exim Finance so as to manage the export-import operations effectively in emerging volatile and ambiguous global trading regime. Dr. VIJAYA KATTI, the senior most faculty and chairperson, MDP, IIFT specializes in India’s Foreign Trade Policy, WTO related Issues etc. Dr. Katti has done extensive work on Indo-Nepal Economic Relations, Indo-German Economic Relations, Indo-Canada Economic Relations, WTO Related Issues, Services, Textiles, Trade Potential of AYUSH Products, Regional Trading Arrangements and India’s FTAs with various countries. She has acted as a Consultant to Ministry of Textiles, ICRIER, Reliance Industries Ltd., Grasim Industries Ltd. Etc. She has acted as Resource Person on WTO in various countries including Geneva, Malaysia, Dubai, Nepal, Tanzania, Indonesia, Bangkok, Colombo Plan/UNESCAP/ADB/NORAD Fund and Egypt. She has authored various books and articles which have been published in national and international journals Pedagogy: The methodology adopted is easy to understand with far-reaching impacts. Lecture presentations, Group Work as well as the reality-based case studies with global perspectives would be the key essentials and deliverables of the programme. Program Duration : 3 days Date : 2-4 March 2017 Venue: Hotel The Orchid, Nehru Road, Vile Parle (E), Mumbai Each day, there will be 4 sessions each of 1.5 hour. There will be two tea breaks and one lunch break during the day. Course kit comprising of study martial in hard and soft copies would be provided to participants.
