48 PUNCH AND POUR The Punch and Pour concepts are zone pressures with 4 rushers off of one side to the backfield set. Punch and Pour “OPPOSITE” runs the pressure away from the backfield set. The MIKE LB’er will call out the backfield set and he will call the blitz. If the running back changes sides, the blitz changes. The DC can just call a Blitz. Players will line up and run the call.

49 PUNCH - RULES AND READS The PUNCH concept (SMACK-WRECKER) or (SMACK or WOOD in a 3 man front) The level one players – End and Buck will vear inside and be a B-A gap rushers (GUARD READ) The Nose and Tackle will attack the Center and work A to backside A (CENTER READ) The level two players – Mike/Will are C-B gap rushers (TACKLE READ) The Sam/Corner/Dime, will be the contain rusher. The contain rusher will have flare control on back.
