2 ABOUT MOTHERS’ UNION Mothers’ Union is an international Christian membership organisation, rooted in the Anglican Church, that aims to demonstrate the Christian faith in action through the transformation of communities worldwide. We work with people of all faiths and none in 83 countries to promote stable marriage, family life and the protection of children through praying, enabling and campaigning. Our 4 million members work within their communities to enable development of all kinds: economic, relational, personal and spiritual. We lobby governments at the highest level, including at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, to improve and empower the lives of women and girls across the world.
