Matthew 6:33 – But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
Set aside time each day to get into the Word of God, preferably first thing if possible because it sets the course to walk in the Spirit the rest of the day! Have a plan, if it’s reading a Proverb each day or Psalm, set a goal to achieve, but at the same time be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and where He’s leading you.

Psalm 119:11 – Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.
Scripture memory is essential to walking with God. The Holy Spirit uses the Word of God to speak to us and through us. It’s the Word of God that sets humanity free. If the enemy can keep a believer from hiding the Word in their heart he’s got a upper hand in warfare. Hosea 4:6 tells us God’s people perish for a lack of knowledge.
