5 Grades Grades earned during senior year are very important—when students apply to colleges, we will be sending off their 2nd semester grades from junior year, but they will also ask for 1st Semester grades from senior year. Some colleges may have self- reporting and ask only for a Final Transcript.

9 Service Learning Hours
How many hours do I need to graduate? In order to graduate, you must complete 40 service hours. What are service learning projects? Service-learning is a teaching strategy that connects classroom curriculum with service projects. Service- learning engages students in projects that serve the community while building social, civic, and academic skills. Service learning hours are earned independently and through projects. Projects are worth 15 hours. Questions, see Ms. Muzzy

10 ACT Test Dates: October and December
Some colleges require scores come from the actual testing agency act.org $13 fee PER score report To take/retake ACT, fee waivers are available, see your counselor or Ms. Salazar

11 SAT Test Dates: November and December
Some colleges require scores come from the actual testing agency collegeboard.org $12 fee PER score report To retake SAT, fee waivers are available, see your counselor or Ms. Salazar

Nominations happened in June of junior year, see Mrs. Weathers or Ms. Salazar with questions. Questbridge Scholars-full-tuition, room/board, and transportation Applications open up in August of senior year – due at end of September
