DU15: Summary of Activities
Preparation for Cycle 4 simulations Gates for BP/RP, AC flux loss, non-linear CCD Million Star Sample, Billion Star Sample Data model – much work (see later presentation) Data flow diagram FDA-003 – finished Data model part went into DWE-009 Responding to PJR (CU5-Q) comments Not an ESA requirement Drain on manpower to continuously update or cross-reference Minimum changes to get it up-to-date and then freeze (Livelink) DU15 Wiki page started (click here) Simulation summaries Java Cookbook

DU15: Plan for next 6 months
Pipeline Dummy pipeline (G & integrated BP/RP) Constant star detection Large-scale calibration Calibration application (Small-scale calibration) First algorithms Above 3 & AccumPhot BP/RP calibration (prototype implementation) Test pipeline with Cycle 3 & 4 data Monitoring of calibrations (quality control) Requirements definition Data model Request Cycle 6 data Photometric One-Day Calibration (PODC) Make sure that attitude methods are acquired from CU3
11
DU15: Risks Late delivery of CU3 attitude methods
Will have an impact on testing during Cycle 5 Lack of manpower Simulations Not enough data Not complex enough Computing Breakdown of hardware BP/RP calibration difficulties Varying dispersion etc. CTI effects (especially faint end) Volume of data

CU5 Data Model Dafydd Wyn Evans, IoA
13
CU5 Data Model Data model DWE-009 (from FDA-003)
PJR comments (mainly consistency and cross-referencing to FDA-003) Missing DU17 and DU18 data types DU13/14 consistency with DT definition (but not field names) Many data types are only the first attempt Fluxes not magnitudes Consistency of units is needed (to avoid conversions) Monitoring data types are missing Previous talk at CU5W03 here Current structure (differences) Folders for each DU Phot/Spec/Spss and Fov/Ccd naming convention (consistency)
14
CU5 Data Model Future responsibility will be with the DUs
A designated person from each DU (sometime in Cycle 5) Data Model Verification/Consolidation meeting 20 ESAC After this ESAC will lock the MDB(?) part of the Dictionary Tool Further changes will be done via a Configuration Control Board and Mantis Therefore 2 months to sort out all remaining issues Discussion and actions
