National Young Readers Week
Activity: Principal Chavez will read her heart out as she reads to students through one day of the week.  
Pizza Hut and the Center for the Book in the Library of Congress have partnered up to raise awareness on how reading is important. They have posed a challenge to all principals across the country to become shining examples for literacy. One day out of the week the principal will read all day to all the children on campus.
