PAC values the contributions made by students from all over the world We educate boys from China, Korea, Taiwan, India, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Germany, Canada, Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand Our International students are supported by Asian language speaking coordinators and teachers We also have a number of mentors, tutors, and student counsellors ready to advise students on many issues

11 International Students Transition Program (ISTP)
Prince Alfred College provides an International Students Transition Program (ISTP), which allows boys to become enrolled and involved in the Princes community immediately upon arrival in Adelaide. Length of program is dictated by AEAS test result. Boys are placed in Pastoral Care groups (homeroom groups) Attend intensive EAP classes throughout the day. Maths, Science, PE, Chinese and Tech programs offered.

14 Pathways PAC provides two pathways to tertiary study:
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP); and The South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE). Our results reflect the commitment to learning of our students and their teachers, encouraging each boy to achieve his very best.

15 Results Class of 2016 Average IBDP result: – 65% of students achieved an ATAR above 95 Average SACE result: – 85% of student grades were As and Bs 2 boys achieved an ATAR of – one in SACE and one in IBDP 28 subject merits were awarded in the SACE and 19 in the IBDP

PAC provides a strong sporting and co-curricular program for all boys, including the Arts. We are renowned as an international school for Cricket, Rowing, Squash, Badminton and Table Tennis, as well as Visual Design and Technology Boys in year 7, 8, 9 and 10 spend time at our Outdoor Education Centres We have a strong connection with our local community and our boys are involved in local, national and international projects.

22 Accommodation Boys can choose to live in either boarding or homestay
Our Boarding facilities offer modern and home-like environments Country Australian and International students mix with day students and enjoy an extensive range of sports and recreational activities that extend beyond their normal home life. Leadership opportunities Extensive activity program School staff offer tutoring in the evenings. Structured homework time. Homestay accommodation is largely through the PAC community of families.

26 How to Apply Each student must sit the AEAS test* (or provide Test results from a reputable testing service) and send results to PAC with the application form, along with copies of most recent school reports from the student’s current school. These results will be assessed before we process the application and we will decide if the student is a suitable candidate. We cannot process an INTERNATIONAL student application without English test results. We will then conduct an interview either in-country or via SKYPE. *
