Purpose
Provide information concerning the new Active Duty Dental Program (ADDP)
Provide information concerning the Reserve Health Readiness (RHRP) Dental Screening Program

3. Who is Eligible for ADDP?3
AD and SELRES (on orders for 31 days or more) members who reside AND work greater than 50 miles from a Coast Guard or DoD dental treatment facility (DTF)

4. What is ADDP? 4
The ADDP provides care to “eligible” Coast Guard members by civilian dentists who are in the United Concordia Network.
“Eligible” Coast Guard members are no longer authorized to receive dental care from a non-network dentist.
If a member initiates dental care without receiving an Appointment Control Number (ACN) from United Concordia Companies, Inc. (UCCI) , the member may be responsible for part or all of the cost of the treatment.
Program begins 1 August 2009

5. What is RHRP? 5
The RHRP dental screening initiative provides an option for required dental screenings (no treatment) to certain eligible Coast Guard SELRES members by civilian dentists who are in the RHRP network at no cost to the member.
Program begins 15 October 2009.

6. Who is eligible for RHRP?6
SELRES members (on orders for 30 days or less) without dental insurance coverage who reside and work greater than 50 miles from a Coast Guard DTF
