Acts 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. Mark 16: So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 20 And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following.

Christ Promises To Come Back
Rev 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. Jesus made this promise to his disciples He would come back for them John 14:3-4 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

Christ Promises To Come Back
The two angels who saw him assend said: Acts 1:11 Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Christ Coming Again - Different
Rev 22:7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. What is the difference? Rev 21:1-3 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

According To Paul’s Letter
1 Thess 4: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Some at this point want to add:
Christ will come to smite the nations Rev 19:11-15 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

This past – but still no end of time
The Bible agrees with itself Never does one passage oppose another Revelations states in the first chapter Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: The Events of Revelation concerning the persecution of the church were about to happen, he was warning them so they could be prepared.

What would be the benefit of war
God has never made man serve him and he never will The righteous already want to serve him The wicked will never have the opportunity Their fate has already been set by our God They are condemned to the bottomless pit with the Devil and his Angels

The Righteous Will Be Rewarded
Three times Rev 22 says “quickly” 2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. This will mark the end of the earth
10
It will all happen in a moment
1 Cor 15: In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. At the last trump – it is all over at this point 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Rev 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. Rev 22: Surely I come quickly. Rev 22:7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
