1 GETTING STARTED WITH THINKCENTRAL

2 THINKCENTRAL Log-In Start by going to If this is your first time to log in you will need to go through a sign up process that includes answering 3 security questions. Your log in will be: ID: Everything left of sign in your TSC address Password will be one of these options: thinktsc thinkTSC1! Something you changed your password to when you established your account. If you have trouble with your ID or password contact Jenny Garriott or Chad Lohmeyer.

3 Access To Textbook Materials and Components
Log into your account.

4 Select Your Textbook and Grade Level
There are many resources for reading, math, and science under the resources tab once you click on the small box near the word Resources. Here is an example of Math In Focus Resources.

5 Setting Up your Class (You must set up a class before your students can see their textbooks)
To set up a class in THINKCENTRAL: Log into ThinkCentral Click on “Settings” Click on “Manage Classes”

6 Setting Up your Class You will need to create a class. You want to create only one class for all subjects. Do not create a math class, reading class, and science class. Creating multiple classes complicates things if you are going to assign tests and assignments. Click on the “CLASSES” tab Click on “ADD CLASS”

7 Setting Up your Class Create a class name Fill in the details
Click on each resource you want your students to see on their accounts. You will be able to see everything under resources without assigning them to your students. At the very bottom of the page Click on “SAVE” At the very bottom of the page Click on “Assign Students”

8 Assigning Students You will need to assign students to your class before they can see their textbooks. Students can be assigned to more than one class and more than one teacher. Select a Grade level and click “FIND” to make this process easier. Select your first student by clicking on their name and click on the “ADD” button. You may select all students at one time by holding down the CONTROL KEY Make sure to click “DONE” to save your work.

9 THINKCENTRAL Hints: For students to see their textbooks or materials in THINKCENTRAL you must have them assigned to the class you created. You will need to send home the login and password information for your families. A letter has been created in the T Drive to assist you. Students’ use at home will depend on their internet connection. Keep this in mind when assigning the leveled readers which have a high number of graphics. You can assign quizzes and tests through THINKCENTRAL
