After you post a question, you can track the number of students who’ve responded in the class stream Create an Assignment: a post when a class will need to submit work. Also, new documents, spreadsheet, presentations, and posts can be created for student individually or as a group to submit. *label Topics to aid in organization* Create an Announcement: An announcement is a post that will let student know about a topic, idea or discussion, or something to know about in their course. Teachers can add files, Google Drive files, videos, and web links Link to Keep Vivid: a website that will convert a YouTube video to a MP4 file so that students can watch from their chromebook

Docs/Tools (revisions, creating text boxes for answers, comments) (Karen) Keyboard Shortcuts (Karen) Tips for working with Google Docs New Docs- create in the folder you want it saved Revisions- you can see when and who revised the document Comments- add valuable feedback or have a conversation with the students Text Tables- If you want the kids to answer questions in a doc- create a box so they know exactly where to type.

10 Google Slides Slides is Google’s version of Powerpoint. Slides is great for interactive notebooks Tons of already made interactive notebooks made on Teachers Pay Teachers. Here’s a link to some Google interactive notebooks available on Teacherspayteachers.com Be sure to look for the ones that you can edit/ customize to fit the needs and learning objectives in your classroom Here’s an example of 1 slide from an interactive notebook I use with my Civil Rights unit.

Google Keep Organizational app good for teachers and students, create lists, photos, links, ect Math Games Teachers can create custom math assignments to help support classroom instruction, very compatible with Google Classroom Doc Hub Allows you to import and edit PDFs, highlight, stamp, draw, ect Scholastic Magazines A digital version of Action, Scope and other Scholastic magazines includes ext to voice feature, short videos and more Learning Ally 1,000’s of novels and textbooks read aloud for students Raz-kids Online guided reading program with interactive ebooks, downloadable book and quizzes Apps- programs (run by self) Quizlet- Google Keep MathGames- DocHub- Scholastic- Learning Ally- Raz-Kids

BeeLine Changes color gradients. Backgrounds and contrasts. Add to Google Classroom If you are on a website, you can click this and it was instantly share the link to Google Classroom. Google Keep You can use the Google Keep extension to quickly add a link to your notes in Google keep
