2. Participants
Tricia MCManus is the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Leadership and Professional Development In the Hillsborough County Public Schools. She oversees all recruitment, hiring, development, and evaluation of school and district leaders as well as the development of all teachers and instructional support staff.
Jennifer Gripado serves as the Elementary Instructional Leadership Director in the Tulsa, Oklahoma Public Schools. She has been both a teacher and a principal. In her current role, Jennifer is the district’s project manage for the School Leader Grant Program and the Wallace Foundation Grant.

3. University Partners
Jodi Lamb spent 27 plus years working in public school districts. Among her roles and contributions was work as staff developer for principals. Currently, Dr. Lamb is an associate professor in the Graduate Studies of Education Department at Saint Leo University. Saint Leo works in partnership with the Hillsborough County Public Schools.
Fern Aefsky is Associate Professor and Director of Education at Saint Leo University. Dr. Aefsky has over 35 years of experience as a public school teacher and administrator including her work as a School Superintendent. Dr. Aefsky works with the Wallace Principal Pipeline Initiative and with HCPS.
Dr. William Black is a professor at the University of South Florida which institution also partners with the Hillsborough County Public Schools and with the PPI. Dr. Black is faculty in the Educational Leadership and Policy Studies program. He is coordinator of the Doctoral program and co-facilitator of the USF Professional Learning Alliance which is supported by the Wallace Foundation.
Dr. Joyce Haines is an instructor and the Masters Program Coordinator in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at USF. Having been a teacher, principal and district administrator, in diverse settings, Dr. Haines has substantial experience in selecting and mentoring school administrators.

4. As a leader in a school district or at a partner University, what would you identify as the key results of your University/School District collaboration around issues of principal preparation?
What positive impact has the existence of the PLC and the opportunity to hold conversations with districts and institutions around the country had on principal preparation and performance in your experience?

5. How do you measure changes that have occurred as a result of your partnerships, the PLC and the opportunity to interact across educational levels and with colleagues around the country?
